Sun tan aid pill - contains beta-carotene, nicotinic acid, vitamin-A, copper sulphate and calcium carbonate

Sun tan aid pill contains: (1) 10 mg. beta-carotene; (2) 100 mg. nicotinic acid; (3) 50,000 I.U Vitamin A; (4) 1 mg. CuSO4 and (5) 50 mg. CaCO3. (4) is finely powdered, as are (5) and (2). The three powders are mixed with (I) and formed into 0.70 ml. pills. A 50,000 I.U vitamin A capsule is then added to the pill. Changes in vitamin A due to contact with CuSO4 are avoided without the need to use other additives.
