Agricultural trailer bale elevator - has frame formed as pivoted assembly which folds into side of trailer for transport

A cage fitted to an agricultural trailer is recessed at one side to carry an elevator arranged in a frame which folds into the recess so that it lies within the vehicle it lies with in the vehicle outline for transport. The frame has vertical members fixed to the cage and vertical members connected by horizontal members constituting a parallelogram linkage with pivots at the corners. A link locks the frame in a square for use. Bales are fed past the folding forks into the frame at the bottom and an endless chain elevator raises the bales for discharge into the cage.
