Electrified enclosure for raising snails - has barrier built up of sections with U=shaped plastics supports which receive conductive strips

The enclosure has side walls on which insulating supports (4) are mounted. The supports are of U section plastics blocks which can be connected together end to end. The wall (7) is within the enclosure and has sockets (14, 20) having through holes to receive insulating clips (8, 9). The supports line the top of the enclosure facing inwardly. Electrically conducting strips (3e) are inserted and these are retained by clips (9) which also hold conducting strips (3d). Similar strips (3a, 3b, 3c) are similarly retained by clips (8). The ends of adjacent strips are connected together. Alternate strips (3a, 3c, 3e) ar connected to one polarity of direct current and strips (3b, 3d) to the other polarity. The strips prevent escape of snails being raised in the enclosure.
