<p>1436087 Weft selection, shuttleless looms INCOTEX SA 29 Aug 1974 [18 Dec 1973 (2)] 37729/74 Heading D1E A weft selection mechanism for a shuttleless loom comprises a number of arcuately arranged thread guides 4 each with a latch 5 which, when selectively acted on by an electromagnet 6, is brought into engagement with a common reciprocating member 7 which pivots the selected guide into its weft insertion position. At the far side of the loom the released weft end passes between raised wires 18 and a suction nozzle 12, lowering of the wires 18 pressing the weft -ends into the nozzle 12.
