<p>The cutter for blocks of wood has the shafts moved in phase forward along its longitudinal axis on a workbench. A circular saw is swung vertically to the line of advance. The bars (13) to be cut are arranged parallel and close together on an inclined feed surface. They are successively moved crossways and downwards, under the force of gravity, onto the bench for further forwarding lengthways. All the bars move together in the form of a chain, a stage at a time, to the position of the preceding bar when one bar's cut is finished.</p> |
