<p>The apparatus can reproduce all the movements of a person's jaws and is used medically to provide the required exercise after injury. It uses the graphical record of the movements of two symmetrical points relative to the other points in the plane of jaw movement. The two symmetrical points are defined relative to a reference plane in the form of a horizontal support attached to the mandible and held by an external sphere and a vertical tube.
