<p>The button is fixed rapidly to a garment without sewing and consists of three parts. One part (1) forms the button and is a flat piece with a central hole (4). Another part fixes this to the fabric and the button is covered by a cap (3). The fixing part consists of a ring (10) with thin flexible fingers (11) projecting perpendicular to the plane of the ring. The fingers end in a point (12) with an exterior barb (13) and fit into the hole in the button. The hole is cylindrical at the top and has sloping sides (5) at the bottom, which narrow to a smaller diameter than that of the clinder.</p> |
