The rotary electrical signals coupling system is used for transferring radar signals. It has a light source modulated by the electrical signals and thereby conveying their information between the stator and rotor. The light source may be located in the rotor or the stator or both: the light detector is located in the other part of the coupling and reconverts the light into electrical signals. Light guides may be employed.
