<p>The tipping mechanism for emptying dustbins (2) into collector vehicles, has two hydraulically or air-operated arms. These have claws at the ends, locked by levers to the bin. They operate with thrust levers acting against the side of the bin during tipping. The thrust levers (9) pivot on the arms (1), and are coupled by pull rods (12) to the locking levers (8). Each pull rod can also act as a push rod, comprising an articulated link between the two levers. The geometry of levers and pull rods can be such that the locking lever remains in the engaged position during the entire tipping operation.</p> |
