The safety belt fastener consists of a lock in which fits an insertion piece with a tongue (1). The tongue (1) has a cavity in for a bolt (7) positioned in the lock. The side of the bolt which locks the insertion tongue (1) in position, has a support surface (8). The surface (8) extends parallel to the direction in which the tongue (1) moves. The free end of the support surface is tapered. The bolt (7) is rectangular, and with a tapered piece extending over the cavity in which the tongue is inserted. At least one stop dog (13) is situated on the insertion side and extends against a stop edge of the bottom part of the lock (4) over part of the width of the bolt. |
