Vibration damped mounting for bumper - with bumper supports into chassis members under body

The profiled car bumper has its supports (10) braced on the cross member (22) linking the longitudinal chassis members (8) at the front and rear of the vehicle. The supports are extended to fit inside the longitudinal members to ensure a secure and vibration free mounting. The bumper is supported under the line of the body and with the supports well inside the chassis members they are secured by a simple screw and nut (14) mountings.
