The additional fuel tank for the tank is contained as a folding bag (4) under a hinged flap (5) on the side of the vehicle. The flap is hinged on a torsion spring (6) so that pressure is provided to expel the fuel. The additional tank is arranged so that it does not impede the turret (13) or the normal operation of the vehicle. Several tanks can be provided, spaced about the vehicle, with the tanks fully protected when empty.
