<p>The inverting mechanism is for a cigarette packing machine, having an indexing capstan on a horizontal axis with mountings for wrapped blocks of cigarettes between a feed and a discharge conveyor. The capstan (1) comprises two parallel plates (2) spaced apart, between which the feed and discharge conveyors (12, 13) pass as a continuous track (11). The latter can consist of a common conveyor belt passing through the capstan close to its axis of rotation (4) and below it. Driving lugs (14, 16) can be provided on the belt surface.</p> |
