<p>Plant consists of a shredder for PVC or polyethylene foil followed by a cyclone separator which charges the shreds to a cleaner where water is sprayed in through an inlet. A screw conveyor moves the wet shreds to the dewatering tower. The dewatering tower through which the material flows in an ascending direction has a rotor with screw blades to move the shredded plastic up inside a screen cylinder to dewater it. The centrifugal action dewaters not only granular material but also shredded foils. Used for cleaning and dewatering of soiled and damaged PVC foils, used for the protection of greenhouses and plants in agriculture and horticulture, and recovery of spent and soiled plastic pellets.</p> |
