The connector consists of anchors embedded in the pile and connected to the foundation slab. The pile connection does not require opening in the base foundation slab and it ensures that only tensile forces are directed into the pile. The anchor (3) is embedded into the base slab (1) concrete. This anchor is connected to the pile top by means of members transmitting only tensile forces. The anchor (3) is terminated below the upper edge (4) of the base slab (1). The reaction support on the pile top consists of two plates connecting the flanges of the pile. The web in this region has openings and the anchor (3) has transverse component (11) in contact with the lower edge (12) of the plates.
