<p>The pulse water cannon has a stroke piston guided in a cylinder divided into a work and a return chamber. This piston is activated by the effect of a gas expanding in the work chamber, and after passing to a free movement section is subjected to a defined water quantity in order to produce a high speed water jet. The return chamber, after discharge of the operating gas, is charged with pressure medium for the back stroke of the piston. For this back stroke, a pressure gas feeder (64) is provided which in the last part of the piston expansion stroke is loaded with operating gas from the work chamber (14), and is open to the return chamber (16) at the end of the expansion stroke.</p> |
