Gypsum compsn. contains =20%, specifically 3-7%, hard-foam powder as is obtd. is the processing of polyurethane-polyisocyanurate, polycarbodiimide or similar plastics blocks. Specific wt. of the compsn., is smaller than that of the pure gypsum, and provides a useful application for otherwise unserviceable plastics waste. The prod. has good heat-insulating characteristics.
