PURPOSE:To improve turning performance by making it possible to rotate the steering arm of an outboard motor, which is positioned inside at the time of turning, toward the central side of a hull by way of providing, on the stern a differential link which is rotatable in the width direction of the hull with a steering member, and connecting it to outboard engines. CONSTITUTION:When a steering wheel 6 is turned in the direction of an arrow D, a differential lever 15 is turned in the direction E and a sub-lever element 18A is transferred to the central side of the hull, and then outboard motors 3 and 4 are rotated and moved to the broken line positions and turned to the right. When the steering wheel 6 is turned in reverse, a sub-lever element 18B is rotated to the central side of the hull and the outboard engines 3 and 4 are positioned in the dashed line and turned to the left. At this time, a sub-lever element transferred to the central side, for example, the steering angle beta of the outboard motor 4 in the case when it is described by the dashed line becomes bigger than the steering angle alpha of the outboard motor 3. Consequently, the turning moment against the steering angle becomes bigger and it is possible to improve the turning performance. |
