The device is a one-way container for transportation and ultimate disposal in the sea of a waste container (1) filled with radioactive wastes. The one-way container consists of a cylindrical concrete pot (2) in which support eyes (6, 7) are concreted. Provided in the wall (5) are recesses (8, 9) which are filled by the concrete stopper (4) and anchor the latter. A pressure equalisation pipe (12) with an overpressure protecting device (13) is guided through the concrete stopper into the interior (10) of the waste container. <IMAGE>
