Lifting rod for inserting curtain runners in tracks - has insert head allowing automatic positioning of runners without manual pressure

The lifting rod used to insert curtain runners (3) into an opening on the underneath of the curtain track has an insert head with a lower contact face (10) which contacts the underneath of the rail. Seen from the insert direction (4) of the runners this face is on the front of the head. An upper contact face (11) which is pressed against the upper side of the lower flange of the rail is on the back of the head. When the lifting rod and head is inserted in the entry gate (14) of the rail it is automatically held there since the centre of gravity of the rod is behind the upper contact face (11) seen from the lower face (10). The upper contact face thus forms a kind of point of rotation so that the centre point of the mass presses the entire rod and insert head against the underneath of the curtain rail so that the pressure no longer has to be applied by hand. The entry gate to the curtain rail can be both swivelled and displaced along the track to allow easier insertion.
