The circuit is designed for protecting a horizontal deflection circuit output transistors from excessive kick-back voltages and has a voltage divider designed so that the output voltage of the supply (+UB) is reduced if the kick-back voltage is excessive. A diode (9) is connected to the control voltage input (8) of the supply to aid this reduction. The time constant of the circuit formed by capacitor (12) and divider (10, 11) is greater than or equal to the control response time.
