The equipment for hand weapon target practice enables the marksman to find the most suitable body position for accurate firing. The target (12) is a vertical or horizontal strip fastened to carrier sheet (11). In certain distances to the right and to the left of the target are several measuring markings (13) parallel to the target. During aiming practice the marksman brings his weapon into bearing with the target, whereupon the line of sight is temporarily obscured by the instructor. After reinstatement of the line of sight the marksman can see whether, and how much he came off his target and can readjust his firing position. A similar procedure applies for the actual firing.
