<p>The chain drive incorporates a continuous chain (24, 26) working in conjunction with sprockets (36, 38) mounted directly on the spindles of the rollers (44). It can comprise a double chain, in which the individual chains are offset for an amount equal to half their pitch, as are the sprockets. The roller spindles (32) can run in bearings on both sides of the sprockets. The chains can run in between walls incorporating means for accommodating the conveyor bearings blocks in different positions. The chain can run over a plastic surface (28).</p> |
