<p>Components are covered over by coating a continuous web of material with adhesive and applying it to one surface under pressure, wrapping round and pressing on to the other sides; the covering material is reduced in thickness at the edges of the component, e.g. by grooving, opt. with heating. Good intimate contact at edges and narrow parts of the components is obtd. whilst producing smooth external finish, suitable for decorative surface material on e.g. chipboards.</p> |
