<p>The dishwasher basket runs on runners mounted on a guide rail (17) of U-shaped cross-section. This is closed at the end by a U-shaped clasp (23) which is mounted with its two arms (24, 25) on the guide rail (17). It can be selectively swung into an opening position or into a closing position in which the web (26) of the clasp at least partially covers in the inner width of the rail. Thus in this closed position, the clasp also serves as a stop for the runners moving in the guide rail whilst in the open position the internal width of the rail is released so that the dishwasher basket can be readily removed from the machine. The two arms of the clasp preferably enclose the guide rail (17) and have at each end an inwardly aligned bearing pin (28, 29) which engages in a suitable hole in the corresponding arm (30, 31) of the rail and tapers downwards.</p> |
