<p>The intermediate layer is used between a sealing foil and a tearable base, such as a thermal insulation sheet. It consists of two individual layers (2a, 2b), loosely connected by needling, permitting relative displacement, each having an inner sliding surface. The outer surfaces are arranged for connection to the sandwiching outer layers. Each of the individual layers consist of a foil, or felt, sheet, and are connected together at preset needling points (3). Preferably the individual layer are of paper, while the needling points may contain bitumen.</p> |
