An electrical switch is intended esp. for the resetting of electronic watches. The switch is designed to lend itself to mass production techniques, is economic, basically of simple construction and reduces the risk of accidental operation to a minimum. The switching electrodes or contacts are brought out as rigid contactors (21, 31) into two slots on either side of the watch display. Four such conductor points can be provided, the shape of the slot in depth being of several possible forms. Where the depth profile is a shallow arc an inserted coin may be used to operate the switch. The profile may be in the form of two arcs requiring a specially shaped key (34) to operate the switch.
