PURPOSE:To carry out developing treatment of images of good quality by a developing device of simple construction and to facilitate prevention of wear and damage of the portion to be developed, by exciting part of stationary electromagnets in a rotary sleeve by means of AC so as to form the smoke layer of a developing agent.
