The roller (1) is mounted on the bracket (2) and the stub axle (10) fits into the hole (11) of the bracket. The roller is fitted with an end plate (4) which slides inside the roller bore. The inside of the end plate carries a concave spring plate (14) fitted to the outside edge of the end plate. The stub shaft is mounted onto the spring at its inner end. The stub shaft slides through the end plate (4) and may be pushed inwards by pressure on the end of the shaft (10a), so that it is flush with the endplate and the roller removed from the bracket.
