This mine comprises a bush (10) for guiding the striking pin (8), which bush is pierced by two diametrically opposite holes (34) which contain balls (35) which hold the striking pin (8). The central part of a two-armed lever (24), constituting a device for safety and freeing the striking pin (8), is fitted with a tubular portion (37) in which two diametrically opposite cuts (38) are made, and which, in the safety position of the mine, are offset with respect to the balls (35). When the device for safety and freeing the striking pin has pivoted, the cuts (38) come opposite the balls (35), and the striking pin (8) is freed and detonates the mine. In this device, the frictional forces are reduced, which improves the operation of the mine. <IMAGE>
