<p>The air-fuel mixer for oil burners with small throughputs (1-2.8 kg/hr) has a tubular casing (1) with a funnel shaped flame holder (2) near the outlet and an inwards tapering end portion. The flame holder comprises a plate (3) with a central orifice (6), the funnel (4) sloping outwards pref. at 30 deg. and an annular flange (5) meeting the casing. The burner (9) is coaxial with the orifice. The flame holder plate is made up of circle segments (7) angled to provide radial slots, for swirled primary air flow supplementing the straight flow through the orifice. Secondary air flows through rows of evenly spaced holes (10a, 10b, 11) in the conical part and the flange of the flame holder.</p> |
