Pharmaceutical compns. contg. as active component as dichloromethane diphosphonate, esp. sodium dichloromethane diphosphonate. Used for treatment of collagen disorders, e.g. osteoarthzosis, polyorthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute articular rheumation, generalized lupus and scar tissue formation in man and animals, preferably at doses of 0.5-50 mg/kg. A typical tablet for use in man contained 250 mg of Na dichloromethanediphosphonate, 40 mg of lactose, 2.5 mg of starch and 1 mg of Mg stearate. |
