The connection device is esp. adapted for use with signal lamps in road traffic signalling equipment. It connects the lamps partly via line multiples in the signal generator to a shared line and partly via disconnecting elements in the signal generator to separate lines. Each line multiple and each disconnecting element are designed as distribution rails and they have several connectors. One connector serves the voltage supply and the remaining connectors act as voltage tapping points to feed current to the lamps.
