<p>The roof chimney extension reinforced joint incorporates a tubular joint piece, and a base panel lying on the roof, with cover aprons fastened to its two lengthways sides for the joint gap formed between base panel and roof. hese covering aprons (9) are made from readily deformable material, and are insertable in guide-rails (8) fixed to the upper side of the base panel (1, 2). The material in the aprons may be an elastically flexible substance, or strips of lead sheet, and they can be displaceably fitted in the guide-rails by a riveted form rail, pref. of T-shaped cross-section.</p> |
