The joint secures the ends of two laminated strips, each comprising a carrier strip with glue-rejecting surface and a label strip with self-adhesive glue. Two junction pieces are glued one to the top of the label strip and one to the bottom of the carrier strip at the join, without being glued to each other. One or both the pieces (5, 6) have between outer adhesive portions (20, 21) glued to the strip ends (1, 2) a strip (15) whose width is at least equal to that of the gap (14) between the ends, and above which it is positioned, and which is detachable from the opposite piece. Where the pieces have self-adhesive glue, the strip (15) can be formed by coating with material having a glue-rejecting free surface. |
