<p>The compressed air brake system is used for saddle trailers. The storage system is connected to the coupling head and has a stop valve. The saddle trailer can be braked even if the brake coupling head has inadvertently been disconnected during travel. One of the supporting bearings (3, 13) for the storage coupling head or brake coupling head is connected with the stop valve (2) for ensuring this valve actuation. The arrangement is such that when the coupling head (7, 12) is placed into the support bearing then the stop valve (2) is closed. This coupling head is designed without an automatic locking element.</p> |
