Seeds reaching the top of the support 3 either spill onto downwardly sloping guides 5 and fall to a trough 6 to be returned to the hopper 2, or pass along horizontal single-seed tracks provided by the recessed upper faces of beams 4. At the ends of the tracks the seeds are received in cavities 16 provided in a roller 15 which conveys the seeds and drops them through a funnel 17, chute 18, and hood 19 to the pots 21. |
