The electrode has a base formed of passivatable material, and a covering layer of activating substance at least partly covering the base, the material of the base consisting of titanium oxide TiOX, wherein x - 0.25 to 1.50. The adhesion of the covering layer to the base material is greatly improved using the electrodes of this invention.</p> |
