<p>The aq. dispersion polymerisation of vinyl halide monomers is effected in a reactor whose internal surfaces are coated with compsn. comprising the reaction product of (A) monomeric amine with (B) quinone cpd. or aromatic cpd. contg. an oxygenated radical. The reaction between (A) and (B) is effected at 110 degrees C, esp. at or just above ambient temp., in the absence of a catalyst. Formation of deposits on the reactor walls is inhibited.</p> |
