The impact pulverise produces uniform grain size in spite of progressing wear of the impact surfaces. Impact elements, grinding elements and pulverising strips are fitted on a rotor. The strips are provided with multiple grinding edges. The impact elements are mounted on balancers and the grinding element on a similarly operating balancer. The material is fed into the pulveriser through an inlet drops on the rotating impeller and is catapulted by the edges of the strips against the impact element. The partly disintegrated materials drops into the gap between the rotational path of the strips and the grinding elements.
