Business letter printed in continuous strip - has inserts with special cut=out to facilitate folding in zigzag fashion

Business forms or letters are printed in the form of continuous strips and three similar strips are placed one upon another. The upper and lower strips form the front and back of an envelope with the middle strip carrying the information. The outer strips have adhesive edges in order to seal the inner strip. After printing, the three strips are folded in zig-zag fashion as they leave the printing machine. To facilitate this folding the inner strip (17) is cut away along the transverse edge so that only the outer strips have to be folded.
