<p>A container for paint, glue etc. which are liable to dry out when exposed to the atmosphere, is in the form of a rectangular plastic box (1) with a turned out flange (2). A cover (3) with a matching flange (12) is clamped to the box (1). The cover (3) has a central circular hole with a raised lip (5). An inner ring (6) is supported by radial ribs from the lip (5). The inner ring (6) forms a support for a paint brush (9) which can be enclosed in a hollow conical lid (10) which makes an airtight seal with the lip (5). The inner ring (6) is also used to scrape surplus paint off the brush before painting. The drops of paint fall through the spaces (7) between inner ring (6) and lip (5) without staining the outside of the cover (3).</p> |
