A device preventing incorrect insertion of a cassette has an arm (10) pivoting on a pin (11) on the cassette holder. A part (14) on the pin causes the arm (10) movement, while another part (15) prevents the cassette insertion. The first part (14) moves the arm out when the cassette is correctly inserted, owing to its contact with cassette projections. The second part (15) prevents further cassette insertion when it is inserted incorrectly. The relative positions of the pin (11) and of the two parts (14, 15) of the arm (10) are such, that the arm (10) part (15) is moved away from the holder when the arm (10) is moved.
