<p>The double locking system for e.g. a safe deposit blox includes an electromagnetic latch with an electromagnet which has a coil (3) carrying a latch arm (5) on a spindle. In its initial position, this latch keeps open a switch (7) alongside. In this position, the L-shaped end portion (5a) blocks the sliding latch. When the coil is energised, the arm is lifted, the L-shaped part is swung up to free the latch, and the other end closes the switch. This is interconnected with a second latch arm (4) which is also L-shaped. The vertical leg can be swung away from the latch, its horizontal arm being pivoted about an axis (10) which is parallel to the direction of travel of the coil spindle. This allows a second switch (6) underneath to be closed.</p> |
