Extruding press - has adjustable wall duct for setting extrudate preceded by cooled and heated ducts with fixed walls to ensure dimensional accuracy

In the parent patent, a cold extruding press for mfg. pallet blocks or profiled beams has a setting duct formed by movable and adjustable walls which are heatable and supported by clamping members. Members are resilient during extrusion when moving with the extrudate and fixed in their dimensional position when moved back during setting to ensure dimensional accuracy of extrudate. In the improvement, the heatable duct is preceded by two ducts, having fixed walls, whereby the first duct at the outlet from the extruder is cooled and the several duct following the first duct is heated. Pref. there is an air gap provided between the adjacent ends of the ducts.
