The supporting parts of the lockable car roof ski holder include one or more straps (1) made up of tube parts. At each end, the straps have a foot which can be fitted in the car roof gutter while a holding arm (8) can be pressed against the underside of the gutter by a lever (7). Two bolt arms (3) sit on each strap with an end on the middle piece of the strap while their non-hinged end can be flapped down against one of the two outer parts of the strap. A closing plunger (15), which can be moved out of the lock, is fixed to each non-hinged end of each bolt arm (3). The lever (7) is so hinged with the strap (1) and the holding arm (8) that the lever (7) causes tensioning of the holding arm (8) against the underside of the gutter. At the free end of the lever (7) is a hole (16) which accepts the plunger (15) in the locking position. Consequently skis can be fixed between the bolt arm (3) and the strap (1).
