PURPOSE:To prevent noises by and extraordinary wears at a piston ring for a two cycle engine upon sliding motion thereof by constituting same such that it is cut at its square portion for sliding engagement with the inner surface of a cylinder with the width 0.05 to 0.6mm and the angle 45 to 65 degrees.
