<p>1527458 Switching matrices SIEMENS AG 4 July 1977 [9 July 1976] 27837/77 Heading H4K [Also in Division G4] A switching matrix comprises a plurality of twopole connection modules Ml, M2, M3, M4 and a plurality of matrix lines B1-B16, wherein each connection module comprises first and second connection lines (columns in Fig. 1), controllable switching means (A1-H1 in the case of Ml) for selectively connecting the first connection line to any matrix line of a first group comprising some of said plurality of matrix lines and for selectively connecting the second connection line to any matrix line of a second group comprising the remainder of said plurality of matrix lines; and further controllable switching means (X1, Y1, W1 in the case of M1) for selectively connecting first and/or second poles of the connection module respectively to the first and/or second connection lines or the first pole to the second connection line. In one embodiment, the two poles of any module(s) can be selectively connected to an earth line. The switching matrix can be used for connecting various terminals of a specimen to be measured to various units of a computer-controlled measurement system.</p> |
