PURPOSE:To make the degree of freedom of photographing large in closest photographing without making a photographing lens larger by regulating the moving range of the focal distance of the photographing lens based on range- finding information from a range-finding means and changing the focal distance of the photographing lens within the moving range. CONSTITUTION:At the time of deciding that an output(range-finding value) from a range-finding sensor 9 is equal to or below a specified value(closest photographing), a controller 6 regulates the moving range of the focal distance of the photographing optical system 1 to be within a specified range and the photographing optical system is forcibly moved to be in a specified focal distance by a driving control means 7. Therefore, the focal distance of the lens can be changed within the specified range in the closest photographing without making the photographing lens 1 larger. Thus, the degree of freedom of photographing is made large in the closest photographing. |
