Fibre-reinforced tubular fitting of heat-setting plastics comprises a first wall portion and a second wall portion between which there is an angled transitional zone which is rounded, the radius of curvature of the rounding being 5mm. Used as pipe fitting e.g. T-pieces for various applications. The intermediate rounded zone between the two wall portions is less prone to mechanical damage than sharp-angled transitions from one portion to the other. The radius of curvature is pref. 0.5-3, esp. 2 mm suitably at or near the inner surface of the first wall portion a layer of glass-fibres is embedded in the plastics matrix which may (dis)continuously gradually passing into a reinforcing ply in the second wall portion. The one wall portion may be part of a pipe whilst the second portion may form a flange.
